RULES OF MARATHON

ARTICLE 1 :

The International Marathon takes place every year on the last Sunday of January.

ARTICLE 2 :

The courses of 42 Km 195m for the Marathon and 21km 97,5m for the Half-Marathon comply with the International Rules of Road Racing and are homologated by the FRMA and the IAAF.

ARTICLE 3

The Marathon and the Half Marathon are open to male and female athletes who have been fired or not (15 and over for the Half Marathon and 17 and over for the Marathon). The Organization has a civil liability covering the members of the organization, all participants in the Marathon and Half Marathon and volunteers.

ARTICLE 4

Participation fees are set each year for the Marathon and the Half Marathon. Facilities are granted to Moroccan athletes and FRMA licensees. Resident foreigners benefit from a reduction defined annually.

ARTICLE 5

Sponging and refueling stations are arranged in accordance with IAAF Water regulations. mineral is distributed at the refueling stations.

ARTICLE 6

The first 3 of each event will receive cups, in addition to the “prize money” for the first 10 men and women (Marathon) and the first 5 men and women (Semi- marathon).

ARTICLE 7

Departure and arrival take place at the Prince Moulay Rachid Avenue (formerly Menara Avenue) behind the Sofitel Hotel, 150 m from the jet d’eau.

ARTICLE 8

The time limit for the Marathon is 5 hours 30 minutes.

ARTICLE 9

The organizing committee ensures the safety of the course and medical coverage during the course of events. He is not responsible in case of accident of health

ARTICLE 10

There will be no age classification except for veterans whose age is greater than 50 years for men and 45 years for women.

ARTICLE 11

Each runner expressly authorizes the organizers of the Marathon and their rights holders, such as partners and media, to use the images taken on the occasion of his participation and on all the media on which the interested party could appear, for a unlimited duration.
